The Recruitment Association, z.s. is a non-profit professional organization that brings together professionals, students and those interested in careers in recruitment and HR.

- The leading Recruitment Association for CEE : We connect professionals, inspire, and set the direction for modern recruitment. We support professional growth, share knowledge, and create an ethical and innovative environment for recruitment development.
- International conference for CEE : We are preparing for the next year the largest networking and educational event for recruiters in the region.
- Accredited education for recruiters : We are in discussions with universities to achieve official accreditation for courses organized by the Recruitment Association.
- Leader in AI adoption in recruitment : We serve as a key source of up-to-date information on trends and innovations in recruitment. We bring experts into our community who provide fresh perspectives and practical tools for effective hiring and HR.

Recruitment Association, z.s. is based on the successful online community project Recruitment Club, which brings together more than 2,000 members - recruitment professionals working in companies, agencies, non-profit organisations and the public sector.

- Increasing the prestige of the recruitment industryOur goal is to raise awareness of the importance of recruitment in successful companies and organizations. We want to contribute to ensuring that the work of recruiters and HR specialists is perceived as crucial to the success of companies and is adequately valued.
- Supporting the professional growth of our membersOur goal is to support the continuous development of our members by providing them with access to up-to-date recruitment and HR information, tools and strategies. We want every member to be able to improve their skills and keep up with the rapidly changing job market.

Mgr. Petra Svobodová
CO-founder / President Recruitment Association
Petra is the President and a founding member of Recruitment Association, z.s., which builds on the legacy of the largest Czechoslovak online recruitment community, Recruitment Club. With over 20 years of experience in recruitment—ranging from sourcing, agency recruitment, and executive search to HR business partnering and leading a team of 30 recruiters—she is a true visionary and mentor. Petra is passionate about finding innovative ways to make recruitment more efficient and seamless. Throughout her career, she has helped over 10,000 people find new jobs and supported companies in securing top talent. She founded the Recruitment Association with the vision of creating a strong professional organization that connects recruitment professionals, fosters knowledge sharing, and enhances the recruitment landscape. Her goal is to elevate the recruitment profession, inspire others, and establish a high standard of professionalism that enhances the industry's prestige.

Pavlína Pavliš
CO-founder / Vice President Recruitment Association / Mentoring programme guarantor
Pavlína is a founding member of Recruitment Association, z.s., serving as Vice President and the head of its mentoring program. She has extensive experience in both corporate and entrepreneurial environments. Since 2019, she has specialized in IT recruitment for tech and AI startups, as well as interim HR management. Since 2022, she has also mentored startup CEOs and freelancers, focusing on business development, career coaching, and entrepreneurial projects. Pavlína helps business owners identify key challenges and find effective solutions. As of 2025, she actively serves as an AI & Innovation Ambassador in the field of recruitment.

Ing. Šárka Taxová
CO-founder / Vice President Recruitment Association
Šárka has dedicated her entire career to human resources. As she puts it, she never planned to "inherit the recruiter’s craft," yet her path naturally led her to HR—from her early years to her post-university career. She has held senior management roles and later launched her own external recruitment agency. In 2021, she founded Opletalová & Partners, specializing in executive search and direct search, while also working on projects that support both businesses and the labor market in the Czech Republic. Šárka has been a strong supporter of Recruitment Associationsince its inception and continues to play a key role in fostering and expanding the community, as well as contributing to its mission and activities.
